Abstract

This study assessed the perception of public on radio as mechanism of peace building in Fagge Local Government, Kaduna State. Quantitative survey method was employed, the population is the entire population of Fagge south local government which is 198, 828 at the 2006 census. While the sample size is 400 people selected from the ten wards of the local government. This was got through the systematic sampling technique. Findings show that majority of the respondents (52.1%) listened to radio for information and majority (87.3%) strongly agreed that radio is the best medium for promoting peace building.
