Abstract

This paper argues that although Hausa dramatic performance, media and technology, are the major components required to produce Hausa video films, scholars in each respective discipline seem to pay little attention to the intricate relations among these disciplines in the production of the films. The paper explored these relationships from their different perspectives and establishes that there are symbiotic relationships among the groups which paved ways for the successful emergence and spread of Hausa video films among their Hausa speaking audience.
