Dr. Kehinde Oyesomi, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Communication and Media Studies, Department of Mass Communication, College of Management and Social Sciences, Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria. She holds a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Mass Communication, as well as a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Communication from North-West University, South Africa. With over two decades of professional experience spanning journalism, teaching, media, gender, and corporate communication practice, she brings a rich blend of academic rigor and practical expertise to her work. Dr. Oyesomi serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Covenant Journal of Communication and sits on the editorial boards of several national and international journals. Her research interests cut across media, gender, children’s health, and marketing communication, with a strong focus on women’s and children’s issues, minority language media, and gender-based violence. Areas of Specialisation: Gender/Media studies, Health Communication, Journalism studies, Marketing Communication, and Development Communication.
