Prof. Victor Ayedun-Aluma, Ph.D. (University of Ibadan) is a Professor of Communication and Social Change, and Dean, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, University of Jos, Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. He obtained his formal training in English Studies, Mass Communication and Development Communication at the Universities of Ife, Lagos and Ibadan, and nonformal training in cognate short courses in Germany, the United Kingdom and India. His social scientific research on the content, structure, process and influence of communication in Africa are published in learned journals and edited volumes under reputable imprints. Over the last three decades, in the Nigerian University system and as consultant in human development/capacity building programmes of the United Nations Development System and other civil society organisations, he has participated in the design and delivery of academic and professional trainings on communication systems and social change.
