The paper presents an empirical assessment of the socio-demographic determinants of internet crime in Delta State. The sample for the study was drawn from six local governments across the three senatorial districts in the state with a multi stage cluster sampling technique.  With the aid of a structured questionnaire, data bordering on socio-demographics and internet crime were generated and analysed. The study reveals that the youths are those mostly involved in internet scam. Majority of those involved in the scam are males making internet scam a male dominated enterprise. It also unveiled lack of job opportunities and alternative sources of income as the causal factors of internet crime in Delta State. The paper recommends creation of job opportunities, value orientation, effective law enforcement among others as a panacea to the menace of internet crime in Delta State.
